You Tube : Spurs' Champions League hopes alive as Clarets relegated from Premier League

Match report and free match highlights as Jacob Bruun Larsen scored the opener to give Burnley a lifeline; Pedro Porro's equalised with a fine solo goal soon after; Tottenham finally went ahead through Micky van de Ven; Burnley are relegated from the Premier League with a game to play

Micky van de Ven's late goal has kept Tottenham's Champions League hopes alive, but their 2-1 win condemned Burnley to Premier League relegation.

Both teams needed a win for their respective battles at either end of the table, and Jacob Bruun Larsen's goal (25) gave the Clarets hope of three points.

But in an even first half, a fine solo effort from Pedro Porro (32) gave Tottenham an equaliser soon after.

Spurs dominated the second half, but it took an 82nd-minute strike from Van de Ven to secure their victory.

The win sees Tottenham close the gap to four points on Aston Villa, who face Liverpool on Monday Night Football. But Unai Emery's side will secure fourth spot if they win that game, meaning Spurs will miss out on Champions League football for next season.

Burnley now know they will be playing back in the Championship next term, with the defeat seeing them relegated with a game to play.

You Tube : Sean Longstaff earns point as Toon lose ground on fifth-placed Tottenham

Report and free match highlights as Newcastle are held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton; Joel Veltman scores opener for visitors before Sean Longstaff equalises in added time of first half; Anthony Gordon has late goal ruled out for offside; Newcastle remain sixth, six points behind Spurs

Newcastle stumbled in their bid to qualify for Europe as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton in their final home game of the season.

Eddie Howe's side are level on points with seventh-placed Chelsea following their 3-2 victory at Nottingham Forest and also lost ground on Tottenham, in fifth, after their 2-1 win over Burnley moved them six points clear of Newcastle.

It could have been worse for the hosts after Brighton defender Joel Veltman punished them for a sluggish start, out-muscling Elliot Anderson to turn home from close range at a corner.

However, Sean Longstaff equalised deep into added time of the first half at the end of a well-worked move yet it was not enough to inspire a turnaround in the second period despite a late rally which saw an Anthony Gordon goal ruled out for offside.

You Tube : Abdoulaye Doucoure heads Toffees to fifth straight home win

Report and match highlights as Everton win to nil for the fifth straight game at Goodison Park; Sheffield United have now conceded 101 Premier League goals this season - a new record

Abdoulaye Doucoure's first-half header sent Everton to a fifth straight home win and clean sheet as they beat Sheffield United 1-0.

Sean Dyche's inspired side have made Goodison Park a fortress when it has mattered most this season and Doucoure was on hand to head home a Dominic Calvert-Lewin cross on 31 minutes.

That was the 101st goal Sheffield United have conceded this season - no side in Premier League history have conceded more over the course of a season.

This victory took Everton to 40 points - without their eight-point deduction for financial breaches they would have been pushing for a top-half spot - and comfortably 15th ahead of the daunting final-day trip to Arsenal.

On the pitch, at least, the season is finishing positively.

You Tube : Yoane Wissa scores late winner as visitors edge extraordinary game on south coast

Match report and free highlights as Brentford beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium; Yoane Wissa scored a 95th-minute winner after Dominic Solanke had cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo's strike; referee Matthew Donohue was at the centre of the action on his Premier League debut

Brentford substitute Yoane Wissa scored a 95th-minute winner against Bournemouth as the visitors edged an extraordinary Premier League game at the Vitality Stadium.

Wissa emphatically rounded off a counter-attack after Dominic Solanke's 19th Premier League goal of the season (89) had immediately cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo's 50th Brentford strike in all competitions (86).

The three late goals arrived after the officials had taken centre stage on the south coast, with referee Matthew Donohue - making his Premier League debut - overturning a Bournemouth goal and a Brentford penalty after being advised by VAR Chris Kavanagh to review both incidents at the pitchside monitor.

Officiating in the top flight for the first time since his promotion from the Championship, Donohue disallowed Solanke's first-half opener because of an Antoine Semenyo handball in the build-up and reversed a second-half Brentford spot-kick won by Ivan Toney.

In a battle between two strikers competing to make England's Euro 2024 squad, it was Toney's team who came out on top but Solanke who staked a better claim to earn a seat on the plane to Germany with Three Lions coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink watching on.

On another day, the Bournemouth forward could have scored a hat-trick, having also been penalised for a foul on Nathan Collins before finishing past Mark Flekken minutes after he appeared to have given his side the lead.

The defeat means the Cherries missed the chance to move a step closer to securing a top-half finish for the first time since 2016/17. They drop to 11th while Brentford, who were already safe from relegation after pulling away from the bottom three in recent weeks, stay 16th.

You Tube : Josko Gvardiol nets double to move champions top and close in on Premier League trophy

Match report and highlights as Josko Gvardiol racks up fifth goal in seven games with Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez also on target as Man City rack up comfortable 4-0 victory at Fulham; City could win title on Tuesday night if Arsenal fail to win at Man Utd on Sunday

Manchester City took a significant step closer to a fourth successive Premier League title as Josko Gvardiol's double moved them top of the table with an emphatic 4-0 win at Fulham.

Two wins will be enough to guarantee City a fourth title in as many years but they could wrap up the league as soon as Tuesday at Tottenham if Arsenal fail to win at Manchester United on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

City moved top of the division for the first time in almost a month and within touching distance of making further history as they made light work of Fulham in the capital.

Gvardiol skipped past Issa Diop to slot home the game's first chance after 13 minutes, with City eminently comfortable keeping the hosts at arm's length.

It took Fulham 57 minutes to register their first shot though within moments they found themselves 2-0 down as Phil Foden scuffed home a loose ball from 20 yards.

Manchester City's place back at the Premier League summit was guaranteed when Gvardiol's second of the day squirmed under Bernd Leno, before an injury-time Diop red card and Julian Alvarez penalty added insult to injury for the hosts.

You Tube: Real Madrid stun Bayern with late fightback to reach Champions League final

Real Madrid's triumph over Bayern Munich sounds like an exhilarating match! Joselu's heroics, particularly his late double, epitomize the resilience and fighting spirit of Real Madrid, a team renowned for their ability to stage comebacks. The drama of the match, including the VAR-checked goal and the contentious offside call, adds to the intensity of the occasion.

It seems like Vinicius Jr. was a standout performer, tormenting Bayern's defense with his skill and creating numerous chances. And despite Manuel Neuer's inspired performance in goal for Bayern, his late mistake proved costly, ultimately leading to Real Madrid's equalizer.

The post-match reactions capture the emotions of both triumph and disappointment. Jude Bellingham's acknowledgment of Real Madrid's never-say-die mentality and Thomas Tuchel's frustration with the officiating provide insight into the contrasting feelings among the teams.

Now, with the final against Borussia Dortmund looming, the stage is set for another thrilling chapter in the storied history of the UEFA Champions League.
